A universal, halogen-free fire retardant gel for wood, paper, fabric and cardboard. Water-based, non-toxic and dries clear — the everyday fire protection India didn't have until now.

Aeon Core LDH fire retardant gel applied across industrial materials
The product

One gel. Total peace of mind.

Aeon Core LDH Gel is a next-generation fire-retardant additive. Mix it into your paint or dilute with water, apply like normal, and it dries into a clear mineral shield that resists ignition and slows flame spread.

  • Ready-to-use gel — no dusty powder to disperse; just stir into paint or water
  • Paint-friendly chemistry — alkaline (~pH 10) like waterborne paint, so it stays stable and won't curdle the latex
  • Multifunctional — fire retardant + smoke suppressant, with a corrosion-resistance bonus
  • Halogen-free, non-toxic, water-based formulation
  • Dries clear & low-odour — safe for occupied interiors
  • Stable nano-LDH colloid (~285 nm) for even penetration

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Aeon Core LDH Gel be used on wood?

Yes. Wood, plywood, MDF and bamboo are ideal substrates. The nano-LDH colloid penetrates the grain and dries clear, giving fire protection without hiding the natural finish.

Does the coating change the colour of the surface?

Aeon Core dries to a clear, low-profile finish. On most substrates the original colour and texture are preserved. We recommend a small test patch for highly polished or dark surfaces.

Can you paint over Aeon Core?

In most cases yes, once the coating is fully cured. Use compatible water-based topcoats. Contact us for guidance on your specific paint system.

How much area does one litre cover?

Nominal yield varies with substrate porosity, coating thickness and application method. Porous materials like raw wood and fabric absorb more. We'll estimate coverage for your project when you request a quote.

Is bulk and commercial pricing available?

Yes. We supply 500 ml, 1 L and 5 L packs and offer volume pricing for contractors, manufacturers and facility projects.
